STX Engine provided the West Fishery Management Services with SCR DPF related training for eco-friendly fishery guide ships to be introduced according to the eco-friendly transition plans.
About 15 captains and crews including officers of the West Fishery Management Service visited STX Engine on November 13, and they were offered SCR DPF theory and hands on practice training.
It is a preparatory training session to prevent difficulties in operation of SCR DPF equipments for eco-friendly ship materials and it is part of service in return for using STX Engine materials in many fishery guide ships. The training will be offered for other fishery management services as well, supports will be provided 2 times a year or when necessary.
The training is offered for free of charge, and in the future, engineers will be on board to offer operating training and thus reinforcing the training system even further.
Through this training, STX Engine hopes to secure the relation with Fishery Management and thus wishes to build up on trusts in the future.
